Casella Waste Systems, Rutland, Vt., announced that John Quinn resigned as senior vice president, CFO and treasurer effective Sept. 25, 2009. Quinn has accepted the position of executive vice president and CFO of Chicago-based truck parts distributor LKQ Corp.
Phoenix-based Republic Services appointed Michael Rissman to the positions of executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary. He has served as acting general counsel and corporate secretary of the firm since March.
