Grant Allows Butler County, Ohio Residents to Recycle Yogurt Containers, Other Plastics

Rumpke Waste & Recycling recently received a grant from The Recycling Partnership to update the company's MRF, and residents of Butler County, Ohio are now reaping the benefits.

Following a waste audit in 2019, Rumple submitted data to better understand recycling in Fairfield, Ohio. This led to the $775,000 grant that now allows the company to adequately recycle "plastic yogurt tubs, cottage-cheese containers, and tubs that hold margarine and whipped toppings with the lids attached."
