Indiana Offers $500,000 in Recycling Grants

The Indiana Department of Environmental Management has released a total of $500,000 through its Recycling Market Development Program (RMDP). Grants will be awarded to businesses with plans to remanufacture recyclable materials into finished products or industrial feedstocks.

Grants will range from $50,000 up to $200,000 with a required 50 percent match. The deadline to submit an application is Sept. 26, 2011. Recipients will be chosen by the Recycling Market Development Board announced and will be announced in November.
