Republic Becomes “Official Recycling Partner” of Houston Rockets

Republic Services has signed a five-year agreement to be the “official recycling partner” of the NBA’s Houston Rockets and the Toyota Center, which is the arena in which the team plays.

Republic will provide waste and recycling services to Toyota Center. Additionally, announcements on team broadcasts and in the arena will promote both recycling and Republic.

“We are extremely proud to have been selected for this partnership,” said Mark Powell, area sales manager for Republic, in a press release. “Our operations are national in scope, but the collection and disposal of waste, and recycling service is a local business. We are committed to helping our customers reach their goals for sustainability through consultation, innovation and environmentally safe waste management practices.”
