AERC Recycling Solutions has bought another electronic waste recycling company, 2nd Solutions LLC, for an undisclosed amount.

Allentown, Pa.-based AERC said in a news release that the Richmond, Va.-based 2nd Solutions provides turn-key solutions and maximizes residual values for mobile, wireless, and computer technologies. “This was the best fit for our company based on the abilities and strengths of AERC, especially with its new ownership structure,” said 2nd Solutions Founder Michael Feibelman.

Recycling Holdings LLC took over ownership of AERC Recycling Solutions in November after founder and CEO, Robert Landmesser agreed to transfer his majority share to the Nashville, Tenn.-based company.

AERC is a full-service recycling company with universal and electronic waste facilities in Pennsylvania, Virginia, Florida and California. The company has R2-RIOS certifications.
