Curtis Bay Medical Waste Services has purchased the medical waste firm Culver Enterprises Inc. for an undisclosed amount.

The Salisbury, Md.-based Culver serves the Maryland, Delaware and Virginia region, the Baltimore-based Curtis Bay said in a news release. The move expands Curtis Bay’s geographic service footprint.

"The acquisition of Culver Enterprises supports our commitment to expand our medical waste customer base in our core geographic markets," said Steve Groenke, CEO for Curtis Bay.
